Visit Alzheimercenter VUmc

On January 6 2016, all PhD students from the Alzheimercenter VUmc (Amsterdam) together with their supervisors professor Wiesje van der Flier and dr. Pieter Jelle Visser visited the Neuroepidemiology research group of The Rotterdam Study. 

Goal of this visit was to exchange ideas on how to join forces in clinical and population-based research into dementia. It was a very inspiring day, in which the two cities and in particular the two research groups grew nearer and made plans for future collaborations, among others in "speed-dating"-style encounters. The day ended by some of the students re-enacting the longstanding Ajax-Feyenoord rivalry in a table football game"
